Something more:

May be it's not the one I though because what I've been told is that the loco was crossing the Rihn with the skips every time...
I am curious to hear from you.

Hi Chris

That photo surpised me a bit.
Was it taken at the pottery factory "De Nieuwe Werklust"?

I love it !

Goode done Les.

The only thing I would do is to weather a bit more the deck surface but it is already an excellent model.

The work is good. The scale is a bit strange and the prices are science fiction.

But may be it is I simply wouldn't pay one cent to someone for doing what I like and enjoy the most at modelling.

Just one hint: I would cover the space between modules with three pieces of black cloth to hide them. That would reinforce the presence of the scenbes. It would be very easy to do with a piece of stripwood or wire bridging each pair of foreground uppper angles so the rectangular area of the cloth ca...

Well, your work has passed the most difficult test in my world. I don't clasify layouts by size, scale, theme or such categories. Also not as 'finescale', prototypical or so. For me layouts are divided into simply two categories: those which make me desire to get my hands on and the rest. I would lo...

Les The main difference between our designs is the scale. The second port is made possible by the scale. My Original plan was for H0e en even so it was many times bigger that yours. I think in such a small space and also such a big scale it won´t be possible to represent in a convincing way a second...

Les Don´t misunderstand me. It is not about who was first there. I´m sure others have done it before. That´s wasn´t my point. I thought the drawings could be of any help. I really would love to see it working. I made the design but never buuilt it and thought this could be a chance to see it done. C...

Andrew Thank you for your kind words. Nice to see your work. It has an absolutely British flavour. Great details the shoes at the door step, the cats and the stuff on the boat. May be I'll join you at the 16mm scale adventure soon. I have at least one more 1/32 project in mind but my eyes are claimi...

Simon Thank you. Yes, I am happy with it . What didn´t work was using the modelling pasta as filler for the edges. While just done looked perfect but this morning I saw it has receeeded a lot and the work must be done gain. But this time I´ll use plaster with a bit of PVA glue mixed in it. Daniel

Have done the filling of the edges using acrylic modelling paste. The small irregularities left will be worked out with paint an glossy varnish later. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7281/8986108210_86c594075b_c.jpg DSC00526 by d.caso , on Flickr http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3788/8986108426_ce5d88607...

Glen Thank you for your kind words. Now the wires: at the beach there will be one, possibly two small boats beside the yard´s wall. Behind the boats there will be two ladies (1920-1930!) taking a sun bath. At the yard, also if it is forbiden to get in for anybody not belonging to the railway´s staff...

Finaly all four modelled water areas have been glued in place. THE COLOURS ARE NOT THE FINAL ONES I just spread a bit of white pastel on the blue sprayed surface so to get some acceptable efect for the photos. Next step will be to fill in all the gaps arround the edges so to get neat jpoints. Then c...

Not much news today. Only prepared the new Das water. I bought an alternative clay from the brand Darwi. It looks the same but once at work it is incredibly sticky and therefore not apt for forming on the glass. Not even using mould release spray. So I brought back the not open packets ato the shop ...

Hi Glen Thank YOU!!! An honour for me to meet the genius. Well, to be honest the speed of my work vary a lot but basically it rests on a slow recovery process after some serious health issues. I must say during this year and a half I´ve been working on this project modelling has show me it´s best ef...
