Re: Returning to GN15

Hi John, To replicate what I wrote some time back in Trade Tittle-tattle: ‘Hi fellow Gnatterboxers, I have been able to talk to Steve, who regrettably still does not have a computer, and we agreed I suggest that anyone who would like to place an order with him do it manually by using the good old p...

Returning to GN15

After a few years away I have agreed to bring my GN15 layout to an exhibition later this year. The layout has been stored in a loft but has suffered some damage so I will need to carry out repairs etc. Biggest problem is that I have sold off all my locos and wagons so I need to look to see what's av...

Help needed to to change a Peco point int a sprung tram point

Folks, I need help. I would like to turn a Peco 009 point into a sprung tramway point but not sure how to do it. I remember years ago someone did if from a oo point but I can't seem to find the posting now.

Hope someone can help.

Mustard seeds as potatoes

Quick question about using mustard seeds as potatoes- What's the best way to secure the seeds into trays? Diluted PVA glue poured over them perhaps :)

Re: Yes ,we have no banana (boxes)

I have spent the weekend printing and making some fruit boxes but did not find many to download. There used to be plenty on the Forum but they seem to have disappeared.
So I am asking if anyone has copies of fruit cartons or crates please drop me a PM.

Many thanks

Early learning centre

Went into my local ELC today to buy their farm range of figures only to be told that they don't stock them anymore but I could order them online and collect at a later date. No wonder so many high street stores have closed. :(

Yes ,we have no banana (boxes)

About 10 years ago we had a discussion about making some cardboard fruit boxes and a number of members provided links to their PDF files of them. Naturally most of these links don't work anymore so I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the "Dole" banana boxes etc.

Well Gromit's master plan paid off, layout won the Siver Plate award for the best feature at the Shepton Show. Will add photo of the W&G celebrations as soon as I've uploaded photos. ps. Consecutive wins of this award as I didn't exhibit last year. Have cunning plan for an attempt at 3 in a row...

Re: Loco couplings pockets

Spent the last couple of nights trying to make some couplings from plastikard. Not easy to get two to look the same. May have to wait until Steve is back. Only problem is that I need three locos built, painted and ready for an exhibition in May.

Anyone have a Couple in their bits box?

John
