Re: Forum hosting costs

90 euros and a donation every year is a lot cheaper than Photobucket and I'd be happy chipping in.

Re: Modelearth modelling: 1/12 on 00 track

I call it Wn7.25 as I figure if 'H' is 'half inch' then 'W' is 'whole inch'

1/2n16.5 would mean the prototype is 16.5" gauge Chris

Re: New laser-cut brick engine shed

Love your work DB but the postal cost for me is prohibitive. It used to be much, much cheaper but it seems a policy of the US postal service to restrict exports and increase their trade deficit which, to me, is odd.
It's a pity you haven't got a European partner.

I hadn't put them in a folder so now Photobucket have lost all the links I'm in the process of sorting them.

Re: 7/8ths scale on 16.5mm gauge

I've had a dabble in 1/12th on 16.5mm too. I call it Wn7.5 as I figure if H is used for "Half inch to the foot" then W is "Whole inch to the foot". The last picture is odd but the post was "muppetised" by a previous over-zealous admin. http://gn15.info/forum/viewtopic.p...

Re: Facebook for/against

Virtually every company who has my name and/or my address uses my data. Before I was on Facebook I entered a competition (Readers Digest or similar) but using a different first name and received junk mail from over 30 companies using that name. They kept coming in waves suggesting that if they didn'...
