Re: Backdrops

Chris Just one further point. It is only the backscene that is done decopage style, i.e. 3D. The sides are just 100g/m² paper layers, one on top of the other. The hills layer pasted directly onto the painted sky, then the rooftops pasted directly onto the hills, then the tree layer pasted directly o...

Chris

Should have said, if you go to Google Images, type in Emley-sous-Bois, there are some images there that show the layout better and in the almost finished state.

Re: Backdrops

Chris Iam not sure how to post a link to a previous topic, but if you go to the 'Size Doesn't Matter' section, Mon Sept 20, 2014, Emley-Sous-Bois there are some photo's of my layout. The background was made all on A4 sheets of paper printed off by myself. A basic description is: The main backscene i...

Bachmann Gas Mechanical - Fixing Screw

Does anyboy know the 'size/thread type' of the screw that fixes the Coupler Housing/Coupler Pocket and consequently the Coupler to the Bachmann Gas Mechanical Locomotive please? It is Bachmann part: 'Screw 10123', which they list as a Universal Screw, but don't give a size! I have lost a couple and ...

Re: Under Baseboard DC Steam Chuffer & Diesel Sound Cards

Many thanks Steve, I thought it would not be that easy. I had actually decided to use two speakers and after what you say it is just as well. The circuitry would be more complicated and there would probably be more equipment + wiring than just using a second speaker? Once again thanks for taking the...

Re: Gn15 in magazines

Simon There has been some Gn15 in the past? The best way to find any is to go to their website [http://blog.voielibre.com/] click on 'English Translations', then click, 'Click to get your translations', you can then read the English translations of the Magazine from VL32 to VL80. The latest copy is ...

Gerry I can afford the straws for the PARTY , but not the DRINK :?: On the same theme, a good source of different sized rod material is knitting needles. Thin Drinking Straws

I'll start a new thread for this? Does anybody know where you can get packs 25/50/+ of very thin drinking straws 2/3mm diameter (the size of 'Biro Tubes' or the ones that are usually strapped to the sides of the Kids square carton drinks) or even better multi-packs of different sized straws? The one...
