Re: Pepper 7 Steve Bennett

Good News

I saw and had a brief chat with Steve Bennett at Shepton Mallet yesterday.

Steve hoped after have a really bad time last year that the tide had turned and things would get more to normal.

Re: GN15 at Model Rail Scotland

Hi Andy

As a fellow Gn15 modeller amongst also modelling in 0.16.5 and 00

I saw the display and meant to come have a chat, but as a operator on the Whiteacres layout time was limited.

Anyway, good to at least some Gn15 models on display and flying the flag at Glasgow

All the best

Hi

The image shows a slot for a coupling, will a kadee fit, and is it at the standard height as per the kadee coupling jig

Many thanks

Warleu

I flew the flag for Gn15 last year at Warley with my layout Ecclestone Manor and I have to say I was a little disappointed in that only a couple of visitors expressed a interest in Gn15 As a experienced exhibition manager the Gn15 is a very small sector and does not attract extra visitors to a exhib...

1/24 Brick Plasticard

Steve Warrington of Back to Bay Models stocks it (or did when he had his shop at Newport Salop UK)

I believe he now trades from home and does mail order

Distressing Resin

I have read somewhere recently and had it confirmed by Steve Bennett that by putting resin parts in to hot water ( not boiling water ) you can straighten the part So I would have thought the same process would work when the resins is warm that you could distress it. Look forward to see how you go on...

Just a quick note I will be exhibiting my Gn15 Layout Ecclestone Manor at Warley in November which will be its last exhibition and will be up for sale.

This is to make room for a new layout Chebstone Estate Railway which I hope to start work on in the coming months

All for now
