Battery Power and R/C ???

Hello, all - I have been modeling in 1/12 scale, but I'm now considering a project in 1/24 (Gn15). I would build my own locos, but they would have to be battery powered and radio controlled . Can someone point me to info about these topics? Also, I am particularly insistent about using batteries tha...

Looking for a figure

I've seen this figure online, but I don't know the scale or source.
I think it's part of a larger series or set. Amazing realism!
If anyone can help me find it, I would appreciate it.

Ken - do you know of an online (or US) source for those

1:24 Figures

Hello, all - Some of you may be familiar with my range of 1:24 figures, with separate heads and arms, that I sculpted, cast, and sold for many years. You can see some samples at http://www.carlospirito.com/figures.html I am now retired, and am looking for someone to take my masters, and have them mo...

Hi, Jeff -=
Do you have a link to those figures?
How tall are they?

I went away for a week, and when I got back, everything was working normally again.
Maybe it just needed a rest... or a reboot?

No route... AGAIN.

Hi,
I sent a post here to this thread, but as yet I've gotten no response. I can't reply to it either, because I was denied viewing.
So, here's another cry for HELP! See other post for details.

Lack of posts lately

Is it just a slow week, or am I somehow missing out.
I've only seen a very few posts in the last week, and none in the (usually popular) "Modelling Matters" section.

On the other hand, the whole forum works well for me, with no odd looks to the pages.

Just wondering...

Re: Gnatterbox 'look and feel' hiccups?

I've had the problem on my iMac running OSX 10.9.5 and Firefox 36.0.3
It fixes itself if I do a browser refresh a few times. Hope this helps, and
I hope someone gives you a new Mac. You'll never go back to WINDOZE. 8)

Figure Painter Magazine

For those who haven't stumbled across this yet, Figure Painter Magazine (http://www.figurepaintermagazine.co.uk/) is a pdf download, now in it's 23rd issue, which deals with the topic of painting, sculpting, and detailing figures and diorama bases. Examples tend toward a military/fantasy theme, but ...

Hello, Rob -
Could you expand a bit on your technique for using artist oils?
Just basic stuff, so as not to infringe on your business.

Re: Sleeper spacing - centres or between sleepers ?

With all due respect, all the ties pictured in this thread are waaaay too wide.
I have never seen any prototype track with ties this wide.
Narrower ties will make the track look much better, IMHO.

Hi, Franck - I am looking for more information and pictures of the first "ironing board" layout shown you quoted from KEG's post; the one with the decidedly Mediterranean Village theme. I scanned the 40 pages of that link you provided, but didn't see anything. Can you, or anyone else, help...
