Colin,

I must say I really like how the layout has developed. Love the idea for the extension, really seems to all fit together nicely.
Think I've got one of these Ferrero Rocher boxes floating around somewhere in my train room, I see an idea forming!

Wonderful work as always.

Love the figures, they're very realistic, spent the afternoon playing around with them and the loco ...

Ian, I really like that third plan you've posted. Just a small suggestion, have you thought about modelling the siding at the front as a disused line? Would make for some interesting scenery options, very overgrown or something like that, lots of grot and weeds? Looking forward to seeing how it deve...

Bill, I do like your method of producing concrete, very simple and effective-will certainly keep your method in mind when I do get round to building my layout.

Must say the layouts looking fantastic as well, love that last photo, all starting to come together really nicely now.

Mark, thanks for that, and don't worry, I always miss bits out from posts when I read them first time, you're not the only one! Bill, thanks as well. I did think about extended the cab further back, but probably won't at the moment until I manage to get some figures to gauge how much it needs moving...

Thanks Peter - I hope so too! Glen, the kit was originally intended for 7mm narrow gauge (0-16.5), and can be found here: http://www.smallbrookstudio.com/page_1201118902437.html The kit I've used is the second one down - 'Echo', all I've done is cut down the cab to make it more open and change some ...

Thanks for the comments guys :) Simon, I'm afraid I don't have any figures at the moment-they're one of the next things on my shopping list! I can measure the loco if you want if that will give a sense of scale? Does anyone have a recommendation for a good source of cheap figures for use with Gn15, ...

First attempt at Gn15

Morning all! Thought I would post some photos of my Heywood Inspired 0-4-0 tank engine. It's not particularly brilliant, needs a few mods such as higher side tanks and a bigger boiler, though I think I've got the proportions right with height etc. Compared it to Mark Smither's drawing of Katie in hi...
