What are the dimensions of an LGB 40190

Does anybody have an LGB 40190 Gable Bottom Car that they can measure the box part for Me, or if you happen to know the dimensions of the box part ? I want to build some that are similar. There are some plastic boxes here that might be pretty close in size
Thanks

Measure things with your Smart Phone or Tablet

If you're out and about and you see something you think will work for your modelling scale...but you've forgotten your ruler, Here's a site that automatically detects your Phone or Tablet Screen Size and gives you an image of a ruler that can be used in Centimeters or Inches https://www.piliapp.com/...

Paper/Card Models

Somebody had posted a link for a company, I think it's in the UK, that has paper/card models. One particular model is an old truck with a "Moon" cab. I had it bookmarked on my phone, but recently a number of the bookmarks have disappeared !!! Any ideas on what company it might be ? Thanks :)

Re: Boat kits?

Simon,
Micromark has a few 1/24 boats listed...but they aren't cheap. The least expensive one is a Chriscraft for $49.95USD
I'll keep looking around

Thanks Andy and Ken !!! That is the kit, and the supplier posted does have it ! They have lots of very cool kits. Never realized that there were so many different models available in card !!! Re: Inexpensive Battery Powered Train Set For Conversion

The top of the Loco is interesting...figure it could be used as detail on a bigger model. I really like the Nose of the Loco......thinking it could be used as a hood for a larger Loco

Re: Inexpensive Battery Powered Train Set For Conversion

Photos of the Loco from the new battery powered set...
1 inch wide track, so S Gauge. It has sound which might be usable with some tweaking. It also doesn't go excessively fast. Would be good for a Pizza type, or some sort of Roundy Roundy or continuos loop...

Re: Inexpensive Battery Powered Train Set For Conversion

Tell us more please. What is the gauge of the track? I have a similar loco I think. I thought it would be a good base for an occasional runner. It is 16.5mm...so HO Gauge track. Comes with 14 piec es to make an oval. It's all black plastic, textured sleepers/ties, spikehead detail, and ridged surfa...
