Hi Simon,

The HaWe is (of course :D ) scratch built, the power unit is a long rider from Chris Gibbon, a 40 mm long wheelbase, gear ratio 48:1.

Thanks Guys! @Adrian, just take two photo's and with the help of software combine them to an animated gif. The spoke wheel should be very reliable, so that a test worth in Utrecht at OnTraxs. The hardest part was to make the movement bend > 90 degrees (the switch board is on the left side of the lay...

Had to do something to get the switches turning...well they move :D

This is the wheel spoke method, simply simple and effective at low cost!

Yes Bill i have used that kit a lot on this layout. The transfers on the fire extinguisher are somewhat randomly picked / customized to the shape.

The more the layout finishes, the more i'm willing to take the camera for some pictures (RR layouts are so ugly when unfinished :D ) The right exit point (thru the fence/gateway) is solely for stalling cars. Hi Andi,

Just a question, have you ever tried/considered the wheel-spoke method for this purpose? (As i understand you use the mentioned method for your switches).

I've build this for my sons model RR and after one year it still works.
