Re: 1n15 Lister Loco

that is just so well done; beautiful job with everything exposed. could you please give a brief rundown what does what on the prototype? I don't think I've seen a Lister with the 2 levers behind the driver's position. I would only be making assumptions of the other components. the driver actually lo...

Re: Carl Arendt site September update

as an archive, it is priceless. I always thought Carl shared the whimsy of Ward Kimball. now, I would side with "hollow". the site has the mechanics of updates, but no "soul". maybe no "character" is a better word. not to disparage the efforts of keeping it on life supp...

Re: Experiments with tippers

I can see making these in length and slicing them "bologna-style" for multiple runs. line up on the frames with a piece of axle or brass rod so they would be perpendicular to the center axis and parallel to each other.

Re: Kelly Country: Australian folklore and Gn15

interesting; I had to search what all the talk was about. the era is right (mid-late '50s) but I had never heard of him. it's a small world I've lived in ...

but I do understand the enthusiasm generated by the opportunity to be immersed in something which you have passion.

Carry On!!!

the hobby waits. I think it's better to know there's work waiting than be resentful that work is taking us away from other interests.

Q: the brass bearings - is this something readily available as an individual part?

thanks

Re: Tracktors 1/24 scale

the Heller kit looks like it would offer some good parts. I think a resin casting of the seat would sell quite well, too.

here's another review of the kit from one of my most enjoyable youtube subscriptions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_eeFaGdXN0

Re: ICM Female Mechanics 1910

I tried to find a "review" of these figures but no luck.

Q: are they molded in one piece? separate arms or legs or head? are the torsos in halves like so many 1/35 scale kit figures?

good potential and kudos to ICM for interesting subjects.
