Re: Watts' - or Volts: a battery loco

I decided that Watts' would need a battery loco. I looked at various photos of prototypes and other models and finally went for a 'generic' battery loco rather than a specific prototype - a sort of 'Clay-Bat'. I'm using the motor unit from the last UE Inspection Car in my stash  As these drive...

Re: Watts' - or Volts: a battery loco

Our team of archaeologists have been digging deep in the bowels of PB to bring long-lost artifacts to light. If they have done the job properly, this link should take you to a Flickr album of photos of the battery loco you desire ... https://www.flickr.com/photos/149926300@N07/albums/72157661382120...

Maybe you can figure out the size of the loco from his photos, knowing the gauge of the track.

Thank you Peter.

Re: Struppe Storage Battery Locos of Lainz/Vienna

I know it has been a handful of years, but would any member know how to get in direct contact with Gerald? I'd like to ask for dimensions on this wonderful loco so I could build my own. Cheers, DB If you click on Gerald's name on the right hand side it opens up a bit of his profile, including the o...

Schoma CHL 10 drawing source?

Hello all. I have this small, low-res copy in my archives and I would love to have a larger version that is legible. Everyone thinks they saw it on the forum, but cannot tell me where. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Re: Clarabel has a new (laser-cut) dress

My kit just arrived in good condition. I should be able to get to it this weekend if all goes well. Laser cutting is superb. I will probably use the Peco chassis simply because I have one. It has a slightly shorter wheelbase than Clarabel, but that means it can traverse small radius curves. otherDo...

Hi fellow Gnatterboxers, I have been able to talk to Steve, who regrettably still does not have a computer, and we agreed I suggest that anyone who would like to place an order with him do it manually by using the good old postal service. Even if any of his websites might allow you to order, please...

I don't believe anything like this has ever been offered before commercially. These are based on the MVR 240 series cars, with measurements provided by Jim & Tim. Foolproof slot and tab construction, everything will be buttoned up for production. I should have these ready for sale by week's end....

What sort of postage cost is going to be on these kits to UK/Europe? Honestly, I'm not 100% sure due to the automated Shopify checkout. If it is excessive, please message me and I will send directly in a Royal Mail small packet. I believe it costs less than $10USD. Happy to use PayPal for everyone'...
