Amazing!

This is an AMAZINGLY detailed layout. Even though it is just a straight line, I could sit and watch it run for hours on end. I love how the track is rusty and the locomotive fits right in with its weathering! I want to do something like this in N scale about the size of a piece of printer paper. Hap...

1/35th Scale Model RR?

I have a bunch of 1/35th scale WWII figurines, and have wondered if anyone had built a functioning model railway in this scale? I know there are some locomotives and rolling stock but to my knowledge the locomotives are not functional and the rolling stock is only artillery guns. I have no plans on ...

Scratchbuild

On youtube i saw this guy scratch-build his own Nn3 models. If you search Nn3 layout on youtube, it should the the first video. If you etch so brass and cut it out you can make whatever you want. Good luck to another N scale modeler!

Nn3?

I know this is more of a G scale website, but has anyone ever heard of Nn3? Heres a link to a video of a really neat layout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pQ9nC7hsKk It's really neat, huh? I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with modelling one? Or owning one? I have an N scale layout ...

Hi Dylan, Welcome to the Forum; there's a great bunch of folks that hang-out here. Recently I completed a "shoe-box" layout that used Ho track and car chassis. Also I used a Ho 0-4-0 Switcher mechanism for my Critter. Take a look at my signature, there is a link to my blog which you may f...

I have to wait until a local train show near october to purchase a chassis. Ebay doesnt have a single truck chassis. Please help on how to build one. Tha...

Another Loco

I would also like a "Rail Taxi" on the layout. I'd prefer it over the critter. http://forum.gn15.info/viewtopic.php?t=9071

Hello and welcome. I too like to scratchbuild locos because I too work to a limited budget. Are you planning to use a HO chassis that you already have or are you planning to buy one or do you intend to construct your own chassis as well? If you are planning to use an existing chassis this will obvi...

Newbie - Small Gn15 Layout

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and would like to have a small gn15 layout. I have plenty of HO track, but no gn15 locos or rolling stock. There used to be a hobby shop in my town, but it closed. Being with a small budget, I would like someone help me scratchbuild one of those critters. Here's some pics....
