Hi all, Having had a lull in starting any other projects . and lack of funds :( I decided it was time to have a bash at finish ing some of my put back on the shelf projects . Crumbs steve ime glad ive just read your reply ive got a Hornby tts sound decoder I was going to have a play around with ile go through that link you have sent me and see if it leads me on the right path . I am a real novice with hard wire ing so i wouldn't want to blow it 1st time around . correct ...

hi chris no problem . I asked at my local model shop . acourding to them its not a split chassis so ile have a play around with a decoder and see what happens

chris the pic of the ruston & especial the two listers are just the sort of reference I need . its incredible the size difference of the listers on the same gauge track

thanks peter . it may look more in proprortion when I put a coat of primer on . I made the bonet out of one of those plastic small draws you get in storage boxes like for keep ing screws etc . yes the front view dus make the over hang look big . I have noticed that some people place much wider sleep...

thanks peter glad you liked the pics I really enjoyed making both of the layouts and regret that I had to part with them . its quite strange that I seem to stick to the same sort of layout plan even my next one will probly turn out some where between the two :roll:

yes it wouldn't take a lot keeping to the original plan I did a gn15 version as well but with a sand hooper

if I do have a go at the 16mm 0n 16.5 I might just do a re make of one one of my old 132 scale layouts I built a good few yrs back . it had view block all in one
