Re: 1/35th Scale 2ft Gauge

Must admit my first go at placing the buildings on the pair of baseboards I've made did not go well as they overwhelmed the available space so I'm having second thoughts on this subject. I have a second theme in mind with many of the kits and components already stashed away which I will have another...

Re: Indonesian Railcars

I've been doing some research, the railway is at Lebong Tandai and is now 600mm gauge but was originally 500mm. Once had a vast range of locomotives including some very usual Simplex.

The current rolling stock are known at Molek = Motor Lori Ekspres.

1/35th Scale 2ft Gauge

Yeah, finally regained access to Gnatterbox. I've just started on new exhibition layout which will feature an 2ft gauge estate/industrial line. I've been working on modifying Miniart vacuum formed buildings. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4497/23655329228_00df2b2dfe_z.jpg IMG_0458 by tankienz , on F...

Thanks for the posting but a steam powered thingy with chain drive - sacrilege. Chains should only be used to complete the drive line for internal combustion motors :P :P

That's an interesting little roller skate he's sitting on https://i.imgur.com/G1dDhSj.png Spud with Serv-o-link chains & sprockets added. Unfortunately the wheelbase doesn't quite match the pitch of the chain - either the chain hangs down in the dirt or is too tight if a link is removed.

Re: Modelearth modelling: 1/12 on 00 track

Hmmmmm, this thread is starting to make me think the 1/24th figures I modified from Tamiya F! racing team mechanics years ago may have to be finished along with some new rollingstock. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4519/37955131204_8365718fd2_z.jpg figure002 by tankienz , on Flickr https://farm5.sta...

Re: This has got to be modelled!

Given the diameter of the tunnel it would appear to have originally been standard gauge. The tunnel portal is very modelable.

I have been trying to research a vehicle model project. Google identified lots of hits across numerous websites unfortunately when I go to them all the pictures the pictures have been Photobucketed. Just makes you realise just how many photos they were hosting.

Re: Dam Construction 1930 - 1932

Geoff, It is a cold and wet weekend, a good excuse to do some modelling :D And I cheated by starting yesterday as I've taken a long weekend off. Unfortunately while it is 'G' modelling it is not 'n15" - 1/35th scale Rhodesian Garratt. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4315/35078232134_af260e30b9_z...
