Re: Orchard End

I thought I’d bring this thread back into play since it’s another Simplicity Sidings based little layout with surviving pics (they’re in our own Gn15 storage).

That’s a neat solution.

It’s amazing what can be fitted into a tiny area. :D

Re: Eaton Hall & Co cakebox layout

Cardboard mock ups are great fun and so cheap.

A suggestion if I may: add a door space to the right of the loading bay with the steps incorporated into that. The loading bank should then be 'all of a piece' and large enough to have a couple of wagons being serviced at any one time.

Hi Brian, Welcome to the Gnatterbox. Although it’s Gn15 Chris Krupa’s ‘Matthews Corner’ is well worth a look. Alas the great P Bucket hosting disaster has hit the pics in here, but the thread remains, go to http://forum.gn15.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9458 Althought the write up is in French there...

14” gauge mine loco

This one popped up in my Minimal group the other day. Plenty of scope I thought to inspire that Gn15 mob.

So here it is:

The website doesn't run super smoothly from my iPad, but well enough to see that the scale is given as 1/24 with dimensions of the original prototype.

Re: Struppe Storage Battery Locos of Lainz/Vienna

I know it has been a handful of years, but would any member know how to get in direct contact with Gerald? I'd like to ask for dimensions on this wonderful loco so I could build my own. Cheers, DB If you click on Gerald's name on the right hand side it opens up a bit of his profile, including the o...

Re: Pepper 7 Steve Bennett

Hi fellow Gnatterboxers, I have been able to talk to Steve, who regrettably still does not have a computer, and we agreed I suggest that anyone who would like to place an order with him do it manually by using the good old postal service. Even if any of his websites might allow you to order, please ...

Re: Carl Arendt site September update

The carl arendt site was a fantastic site when he was managed by Carl. Now this site is a hollow site with 2 updates per year maximum. When you write to the manager of the site you get no answer. If I may say so I think you are being a bit unfair. Carl, bless him, had retired and was therefore able...

I don't have Tom's IT knowledge, but as a mod I do have editing rights over everything. As a quick test I popped over to your original Longstone thread and deleted the 's' from 'https' and voila! The photos then show. I'm doing this on an iPad, which is not as easy to position a cursor as a mouse co...

Re: Biggest scale with H0 track

There have been a few examples of people using 1/12 scale as it comes out very close to 7 1/4" gauge. Alas, one of the best of them has lost all the photos since Photobucket changed its policies. You can see the sort of thing I'm referring to as the full size version if you are a Facebook user ...

Hi Graham, The trees look great. Often a weakness in the past on some models folk do seem to be much better arborealists ( :D ) these days.
