[1:12] First micro layout

Hello Happy Members, I also built this little critter (1:12 scale) on a Hornby 0-4-0 chassis. As always, I used cereal boxes (empty of course !). Because I don't have any 1:12 scale figure, I made this very strange driver (maybe you can recognize him... ). I'm very pleased with the result....

Re: First micro layout

First wagon built (just a try in fact  ). I shortened a Hornby wagon chassis. Due to the very tight curves, I removed a hook on this wagon. Dimensions: 40mm x 70mm. Hope it works.

Re: First micro layout

I ordered one Hornby 0-4-0 steam loco for building a Gn15 critter. I also need a few short wheelbase wagon chassis.

Re: First micro layout

After a few glasses of a fabulous Pécharmant red wine (In vino veritas) I changed my mind.
First of all, it's my layout and I do what I want ! Nobody can tell me to dismantle my layout.
So I rebuilt my micro layout and I'm very happy with it. :D :D :D

Re: Bergerac's small layout

Many thanks for all your replies Gentlemen. Very much appreciated. As I spent a lot of time in Northern Ontario (Canada), I can use the metric and the imperial systems without any problem. :D
I'm going to borrow the Barry's track plan.

Thanks Chris. :D I found this funny video. I think it's not Gn15 but it looks like. Anyway it's a very simple layout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI07WgIMNbk

First track plan. I'm not very happy with it. I only have two ST-241 Peco points. All your comments are welcome. Thanks.

Bergerac's small layout

Hello, My first try to build a micro layout was not a complete success... But I don't give up. I already buit a new baseboard (56cm x 90cm). I found all the stuff in my very well stored garage. It'll be a basic oval with two points and two sidings. I applie the well known KISS principle. I...

Unfortunately on another forum a wise guy told me that my layout is going nowhere. He's right. So I carefully dismantled it and I put all that stuff in a box.

First micro layout

Hello, I built my first 00 gauge / Gn15 micro layout. The dimensions are: 41cm x 65cm. I used Piko flexi-track because I found it in my local toy shop. The radius for these very tight curves is only 175mm. I cut the rail with my standard side cutting pliers...and it works well for me. I cleaned the ...
