Re: Just started in Gn15

Here is " Harlequin " from Smallbrook studios. I have had to heighten the loco shed.
I have nothing but praise for this kit manufacturer.
Excellent.
I love it.

Re: Just started in Gn15

Juergen. Thank you so much for posting this. I was trying to show my son here in Australia where I have started modelling again , my Brass Effie. I had forgotten what happened to it so you have reminded me. The backplate detail is again just what I needed as I am completing a Smallbrook studios &quo...

Re: Just started in Gn15

Thank you Chris for the link tk Grum's G15 layout. It was well thought out and looked brilliant. I accept that my sons loco building is not everones cuppa tea but at least he has made a concious start. The more he reads up about it all the more likely it is that he will turn to convention. But I do ...

Re: Just started in Gn15

Thanks Chris. I was a past member of this forum some years back when it was thriving. Such a shame. I remember particularly American interest and the pictures of their Critters. They were so characterful. But I do notice other threads that have taken precedence over our initial " Hello " a...

Re: Just started in Gn15

Okay...I have introduced myself and my son with our ages and where we live. As said we are new into this scale and my son is deeply i terested in going into railway modelling. Maybe I am expecting too much but for a friendly forum We are getting nil responses. I am a bit bemused considering my enthu...

Re: Where should I post?

Hey Bill, I am a great follower of your fantastically meticulous modelling and thanks for dropping your Flkr links. I will show my son now exactly HOW you model with all and a number of materials. What do you use for bolt heads and rivets in 1:24 scale? Your models are awesome mate! Just beautiful. ...

Re: Where should I post?

Hello Emrys.
My son and I are new in to the forum although I was a member some years back.
We are both getting used to the gauge.
Son has built a couple of critters and we feel the correct place to post them is under Locos?
But we are not allowed to do this.

Just started in Gn15

Hello. I am Pete 67 and my son 46 . We have both just started to model in Gn15. We live in Australia. We are trying to get used to the scale which is huge compared to 009. My son has Gnocked up a few critters but they are still not totally finished. Pete https://flic.kr/p/Q1bwEm https://www.flickr.c...
