Resin Kit assembly

I'm sure it has been addressed before. But I received in the post a couple of kits from Sidlines (Thanks Steve). Since this is the first Resin Kit I have assembled (many styrene, wood etc) and I don't want to muck up Steves wonderful kits I thought I would just ask for confirmation on a couple of as...

Gerry, The way I convert VHS to digital format is by recording the VHS onto a digital video camera (connected via standard RCA video connections) then upload it from the camera using the 1394 or firewire connection onto the computer. (assuming your computer has a firewire connection and you have a d...

DCR, I know what you mean with the glue. I made a diorama once. probably used to much glue. It took a week or two to dry out! As for the layout. It displays something I remember reading in a model magazine. And actually pulls it off well. The article basically indicated to not to put buildings...

Have to agree with Steve.

This layout has enough detail to make it realistic. But isn't overdone. Nice balance! Very inspirational!

Haven't got picture exactly like what DCRfan has mentioned. But the style he has done is very common also in Australia during the logging days. But a very close version is the following which is one of the Stockmans shacks in the Victorian hi-country which southpass mentions. Many of them may have b...

I would have to agree with Southpass! Except he most likely would have both feet out of the vehicleo or like southpass indicates up on the hood! Due partially to the aussie "laid back she will be right" attitude and just in case he needs to jump from the vehicle in an accident. Have ...

Love to see the steam powered helicopter lift  The bridge in Bourke is also hand cranked! With counter balances inside the 4 main uprights! But certainly keeping OzTrainz bridge in mind as that certainly has a lot of charm to it! The other option due to the lack of space is a swing bridge. Don...

Can't get over what you have been able to achive with just Cardboard and paper! As for the track across the sub. What about some sort of lifting sections? Even if it doesn't lift but looks like some sort of dual draw bridge arrangement meeting in the middle. Even some sort of full lift arran...
