I tried out the Dremel sanding drum. The door is gone. I left the top of it as an 'eyebrow' for the headlight. I think I'll mount the light in the existing hole. Might work. I've lowered the body about a quarter inch... waiting for glue to dry now. Then I can start on the bodywork. :D

I'm hesitant to post this because there is so much amazing skill here and this feeble attempt is pretty crude. But, I'm having fun and you guys are the reason for that. I've been bitten by the Gn15 bug. I bought this poor old loco and 4 other cars for $4.99 off eBay. Sold as 'junk, not running'. htt...

I'm glad you asked and got the info. I needed the links too. I've been buying HO track and turnouts from eBay when I find them cheap.

Thank you so much for posting these! I have built what I call my Bic Rivet Gun and now I know where to give credit. I knew I saw the idea somewhere and it is in the May 07 issue I think.
