More time for Modelling - maybe Gnot!

I've just received estimate of energy useage from Npower that show number of days in a year equating to 379!!!
Do they know something we don't about the Earth's orbit?
As an explanation my gas charges include a daily standing charge, shown for upcoming year as being charged for 379 days.

Re: Lack of posts lately

As I said back in January I've never had any real issues accessing Gnatterbox.
I think that reason is Spring in Northern Hemisphere from whence most of our membership hails.
Most of my time is now spent in the garden.
Unfortunately any modelling from myself is now a non starter.

Re: Halling motors revisited

I've used the Halling KSW 2001002-A on several builds, one on my Wallace & Gromit layout has run for 30+ hours without a problem. Weight of loco is 110 grms, runs continuously on inverted 8 track. WARNING, a second build on my Club's Fiizz-Bang/Fawkesville layout has failed after just two Show d...

Waterborne Powered Beach Hut

I know a few Gnatterboxers feature Waterside scenes in their layouts so how about this as another Prototype for everything. It's certainly wacky with outboard motor. Located on the river Crouch at Burnham. Shows mooring behind blue launch area, close-ups follow: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v24...

Welcome back Ian, will be great to see developments as they progress. Your last photo looks very much like that illustrious Square Foot Wagon that must go down as the most travelled Model Rail hardware of all time. For Gnewcomers you can find the wagon's journey here: http://gn15.info/forum/viewtopi...

Re: argricultural railway information sought

Hello all. I have an amazing opportunity to present the virtues of an agricultural railway to a significant local orchard. Are there any technical treatises that you could direct me to? Presenting the motive power and stock is easy, as I have numerous designs already in place. What I really need is...

Re: Links in VE/LS go to 403 page

Gnatterboxers will see that I've corrected both VE & Loco Shed links. They now all work BUT there will be hundreds of others within individual threads throughout the remainder of the forum. These can be corrected by the post originator. I'm not about to seek them out though I did find one of my ...

Hi Bill, welcome to Gnatterbox.
The search function here will enable you to find many answers.
Searching R3065 gives this link:

Re: Loco Shed

All links now work, however there are 6 fewer shown due to duplication and more will disappear if photos are not re-instated.
Thread originators have been advised and have until month end to update links otherwise those threads will be deleted.
No Photos no interest IMHO!

Thanks Roger.
I can now report that all broken links have been repaired so that linked threads can now be accessed from the VE section.
I'll update the Loco Shed when that has been completed.

Re: Limited Access??

In my area I'm finding everything is becoming slow no matter what website I'm using.
My feeling is that it's due to the increased use of the www. I do Gnot have a fibre optic connection so the ongoing build of 160 houses nearby between myself and exchange probably has some effect on the speed.

Re: Links in VE/LS go to 403 page

Thanks Andy, I'll proceed on those lines. OK progress to date: First page of VE links now work as does Last page (only 8 on that one) Took an hour to update first page as my broadband is very slow. Based upon that timing pages 2/3 will take another 3 hours and the Loco Shed a further 4. Unlikely to ...

Re: Links in VE/LS go to 403 page

I've been wandering the Virtual Exhibition and Loco Shed looking for ideas and the links in format forum.gn15.info go to a 403 error page but gn15.info/forum links work fine. Seems to be all of the threads from 2013 and earlier as the 2015 ones are in the latter format. Andy 8) I can fix BUT it wil...

We did chat but not about Gn15 - I came to chat about Newlands Park for Stafford show, didn't realise you were a Gn15 modeller as well - maybe we need some sort of sign to indicate a fellow Gnutter? I had a good show with no major disasters, now time to start work for next years show! Andy 8) 1. Th...

Excellent set of photos Gerry. I'm afraid I have to disappoint regarding your comment that (sic): "Mick's website will show more of the scenery" as I wasn't there! Due to a bunch of family health issues suddenly descending on our life all at once, my wife, son and one of my daughters have...
