Haywards Estate Railway

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

I hope Rail-Ex goes well. It’s great to see photos of those layouts again.

People seemed to like it. So busy running, never got a chance to shoot the other layouts, but, tomorrow, is another day.
Hall already booked for next year here.

Another Rail-Ex over (and toast to absent friends).

The variety never ceases to amaze me, I as parked up alongside some vintage Soviet Bloc stuff. Comrade Robert had conscripted help (not that the conscript was complaining). Haywards performed flawlessly, not a single stalling, or derailment. Even the bush jigger on Silver Pine failed to kiss the dirt on the protopically 'rough' trackwork.

I just spoke to Brent Hopley. He felt is was a very successful event. He said he kept missing you when he has a wonder around.

Sum total of purchases, $0.50c, for a final issue of a magazine. Plus Pizza and Fish and Chips etc for the hired help.

Managed to 'recover' some of my stuff from Photobucket. Some of the earlier shots get this thread back off to a good start, again.

Whatever I did, didn't last long. So I have now manually reinserted what I could. Better, but not perfect.
