(F) Vertical Boilered Gn15 loco

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

Hi there all,

I bought a Smallbrook On16.5mm kit at Narrow Gauge SouthWest and have altered/adapted it for Gn15. Main components are all from the Smallbrook kit (first photo shows demo model). I have used added parts from "Sidelines", a reversing lever from a Testors cablecar kit and some plasticard. The running plate was scratchbuilt to use the "Smokey Joe" chassis as the Smallbrook parts are designed to fit around it. The model is still not completely finished but at least it looks presentable enough to photo and share with you.
