This came from Jim Snee's website, but I had to spray it cause I can't work as neatly as the true paper Gurus. However, it is definately green! Made with recycled cardstock from Home Depot toys and tools. I have a few more that I want to build, and I hope Jim Snee gets his commercial site up so I can get more. These have a lot of work in the drawing and design, and he should be paid for the effort and time! By the way, what loco is the prototype? I know that I have seen it, but where?

The power unit is a Grandt Line FL-1 Plymouth chassis, and runs really well and slow!

The prototype was used at Thakeham Tiles, and is now at Amberley.

And scroll down to Thakeham Tiles 5.

As a point of interest, the driver/engineer sits with his back to the hood, what you would normally expect to be the back of the loco is really the front, I guess you would think of it as a cab forward.

Just found this topic. Making a paper critter is a good idea. Kit or scratchbuild ?

Hi Terry,

Jim is a member here but hasn't posted since 2012. Since there is no mention of a website on his Profile I not sure you are going to get lucky.

Cheers,

Yep those are the 2 I built a long time ago. The truck is easier cause you can use balsa wood for the planks. Snee had quite a few designs but I can't find any more of them. I wonder where he is?

Edit: Nope that is one loco made with both pages. I am not sure it is the Thackham. It looks different. Does anyone know?
