Greenhouse Sidings by Richard Andrews

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

OK. I know it is probably a bit late to comment on Richard's latest but I am going to anyway. I have been following Richard's layouts for a long time and have always admired the original thinking and really quite simple way he pulls off his delightful offerings. This one is another classic. Thank you Richard. Too bad I can't make it to Narrow Gauge West at Shepton Mallet on Feb 16. We have our own purely NG show here in Central Ontario on April 13. Stop by if you are in the area. "Caution. Narrow Gauge Madness is Contagious".

I only wish I could come, but Ontario is a little far away :( :( :(
Thanks for your comments, Brian.

Stopped by this cracking layout today at Stafford. I'm dipping my toe into this branch of our hobby and Richard took the time to describe to me virtually every item of rolling stock on his layout. I appreciated that very much as I am floundering a bit. Thanks!

I've found a way to improve and speed up my 'snatch from the jaws of P Bucket' technique, so here's a bunch more photos that we thought weren't going to see the light of day again.

I currently have this layout. I am looking at building something new for 2018 - not sure whether to try and sell this, or just reuse bits of it on a new layout...Would anyone on here be interested in it?
