Aluminium Rocks

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

Yes, your work has inspired me to build my first layout AND it will have a lead and silver mine. The common mineralization around here in the silver mines is lead with silver along for the ride. Same as the first mine I worked in. It was a lead mine, but the silver paid all the expenses.

Finally got some LED strips installed. Have to dimm down the light a bit later.

I am not too happy yet with the (Aluminium-) clouds.

It seems, one can use the aluminium foil technique for clouds as well:

Touched up a photograph of the Bastei-Bridge in Saxony with Acrylic paints from tubes and installed it as a background in the Steinheim Diorama Modul.
