In theory yes there could be a big range of wagons but I had some difficulty finding pictures of wagons taken side on.
There are plenty out there taken from angle showing an end and the side but using those would mean modelling in perspective, I have enough trouble with one scale!

I have had to guestimate the dimensions for the ones I have used based on the wheelbase but I think they are about right, it make you realise how small the estate stock is.

Cheers

Don, that is an excellent idea, and quite ingenious. Thanks for sharing.

His lordship decided he would like his locos named so as a classical scholar he has gone for the Greek alphabet, so we have Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta & Epsillon.

I considered using the phonetic alphabet but decided Charlie was a bit frivolous for the period.

When I get round to ordering nameplates for mine they will be Yan, Tan, Tethera, Lethera, number 5 (In deference to peoples sensibilities) etc, with numbers as required.

Funny you should mention Yan, Tan etc. After I had stuck my names on it occurred to me that they would have been more interesting.

There is a Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yan_tan_tethera that has several variants with an alternative for 5. As long as you don't get to number 15 you should be OK.

This is a pic of the whole loco fleet to test the new photo hosting system.

Thanks Tom, seems to work fine and should hopefully avoid link issues in the future.

Cheers.
