Just caught up with your thread Roger. Now I can see what you and Ian were talking about regarding the "pea soup" in the water butt! Absolutely amazing modelling all round - in the very top drawer. Congratulations :D

I was very pleased to get a glimpse of the little layout at Expong yesterday. Thanks for showing it to me, very impressive modelling indeed.

And thanks also to Gerry Bullock for intercepting me and pointing me towards Roger and giving me the secret codeword to get Roger to "show me what is in his box" :D

The opportunity to Take Your Pick and "Open The Box" Mick I'm sure brought a sense of Joy in seeing this model; certainly did for me.
Photos do Gnot tell the whole story, seeing is certainly believing with this superb 'Simplicity'. 8)

I thought I’d bring this thread back into play since it’s another Simplicity Sidings based little layout with surviving pics (they’re in our own Gn15 storage).

Cheers,

Stunning detail and realism Roger, superb.

Being fairly new to Gn15 myself, I don't recognise those figures. Could you tell me where you got them?

All the best
Graham

Sadly I'm not sure you're going to get an answer Graham as Roger hasn't signed in for a couple of years (you can always check by clicking on a bod's name under their avatar and look at the 'Last active' date in their Profile).

Cheers,

The guy leaning on the fence and the driver are by SLM, not sure about the chap standing inside.

Cheers

Hello gentlemen,
sorry for not noticing the request for information I am still here but but have been a bit quiet for a while now.
Thanks for bringing my little layout out again and for the lovely comments.

Graham;

The figures are indeed from SLM , ( http://www.slmonline.com ) and are all still available according to their website.

“ Melvin “ is the chap in the doorway,

“ Warner” is leaning on the fence, ( with added newspaper),

“Jon” is the driver.

Just be aware of postage costs as these come directly from the US, probably a lot more now than when I purchased them .

Hope that helps.

I will try to stay on top of posts on the forum from now on.

Regards

Roger
