I used some of these a few years ago. They are easy to make up, but some are more complicated I think. Not sure about metal wheels, as the ones in the kits were OK. Just need weight in wagons for better running. Need to think about type of couplings though. The N gauge ones are OK, but might stick, so OO9 ones from Peco can be fitted. Depends on radius of curves used, and whether you want to couple and uncouple on layout.

Narrow gauge Francophile interested in 1m, 60cm,50cm , 40cm and smaller gauges . Build in scales from 1/6th to 1/24th. Also 1/32nd and 1/35th using 16.5mm track to represent 50cm and 60cm gauges.
