Hello there,
Did anyone build something in Gnine with that kind of stuff ?

Peco N Gauge Wagons

If so, could you help me ? I still have a few nexbie questions:
-Are they easy to build for a beginner ?
-Can I use steel wheels ?
-Does anyone have a picture of one of these kits "just out of the box" ?
Many thanks in advance !

I used some of these a few years ago. They are easy to make up, but some are more complicated I think. Not sure about metal wheels, as the ones in the kits were OK. Just need weight in wagons for better running. Need to think about type of couplings though. The N gauge ones are OK, but might stick, so OO9 ones from Peco can be fitted. Depends on radius of curves used, and whether you want to couple and uncouple on layout.

OK. Thanks. I'm looking to that item:

NR-122 15ft Chassis Kit

But I don't know the length. Maybe 50mm...

Today, I had one kit just for a try. It's my very first N scale wagon and it's very small !

Step one:

Perfect set of tools! I usually use those after extreme frustration with delicate electronics

They are actually easier to dump into the salt water pool. Much less energy to destroy them. Yes I love G9 but it is small. Steve Bennets stuff is fine and a bit bigger if you can get it, but you still need some of those n gauge chassies. There are some good models from TeeBee and Simon on Shapeways too.

Mainly because I'm French, I guess. So I'll send an email to the owner ASAP.
