Consider it done Glen. 8)
Fellow Club member who's an electronics wizz-kid already has recordable chips on order to support Guy's FIzz-Bang upgrade, some come with proximity sensors though we don't know how sensitive the sensor is.
Could even record my own Grandfather (Clock) for the shop. :D

Another clock

I thought that the desk in the shop would be enhanced by a French Clock albeit the painting in this size of photo looks pretty poor.
It is but 16mm tall.

Hi Gerry,

That's a nice little clock.... but it's 25 minutes ahead of the long case in the back. :?

Also, I've a feeling that a 5'6" clock may be called a Grandmother. I know more about horticulture than horology, and precious little about that. Somebody will enlighten us.

So, where's it gunna go? Mantlepiece, or desk?
My Mum calls me Steve.
1:32 on 16·5mm track. Gnot strictly minimum gauge... but it is the minimum that I'm working with !
And now... a critter in 1/24th... from scratch!

Right here Steve:

You're correct it would be a Grandmother however I guess Petite Properties, from whence it came, considered retailing it as a Grandmother might have reduced its appeal.
Having more than 10 clocks dotted around our bungalow not all show the same time, primarily because I don't wind them all.
Perhaps the French Clock is just a showpiece, might be right in 25 minutes if they've remembered to wind the Grandmother.

Here's the upper floor nearing completion:

Difficult to see through the windows, if you peer hard enough this is what is inside:

I'm afraid that this building is Gnever going to find a home on the proposed layout as my sight has deteriorated to the extent that bad eye is distorting vision of good eye when working close-up
Anyone in UK interested in building - cannot be posted!

Wow Gerry, that's a shame about the eye. Isn't there any way to correct the 'bad' one or cover it while working? Sight is such a precious thing. I hope things work out for you.
