It's taken years but after a few false starts I have at last started to build a GNine layout. Following lots of advice from group members I decided to keep things very simple and looked at various layouts. I have always liked " Badgers Bottom" by Simon Andrews so with his permission I have started to construct a very similar layout. Like most folks I have collected a various amount of model railway items so the layout has been very cheap to build. I had to buy one sheet of foamboard @ £3.00!!!!!!'
Now for a couple of questions that have been asked many time before but .....
1. Roof tiles ...What size should each tile be and best method to make them.
2. Bricks..... Do I use the printables or try and find suitable board that can be scribed( I have looked around my local craft shops but nothing suitable.) Does anyone have a link to download a brick/stone template?
3. Grass... I know a lot of people have had success using hanging basket liner but is there anything better.
4. Animals ..... Looking for hens, chickens , ducks etc in the correct scale
Photos will follow once I dig out my old laptop again as I use a tablet these days.
Regards
John
