That certainly would be a nice loco to have, however I have quite a few suitable loco's in the pipeline. I bought two Tramways de L'Indre whitemetal loco kits, which are very similar to a Corpet-Louvre, from GEM at Expometrique a few years ago that are still in their boxes. The chap was quite taken back when I bought them, they were nearly all sold out and I was the first person who had ever bought two? Hopefully one will be built before Birtley!
My priority is a railcar so I think my next purchase will be a BILLARD A80D? However I don't think this will be before Birtley as I have enough to do with converting all the stock to make them look like French stock!
Plus Colonel Dubois was over in England in 1934 and bought two cucoo's, sorry two loco's, from the closed Campbeltown and Machrihanish Light Railway: ‘Argyll’ and ‘Atlantic’, the Andrew Barclay 0-6-2T's and re-gauged them to 1000mm. I ran these on Emley-Sous-Bois at the Middlesbrough exhibition and they did not look out of place, so will come in handy as standby loco's?
