Curves and DG couplings.

Eldest Son is reaching the age where we can move from Brio trains to a 'proper' model railway. After several false starts we're going to try and build a small model using the stock from Westerooge, but with a proper baseboard and a continuous run.

What I now need to know is the minimum curve that is practical with standard DG type couplings. I notice you can get Peco tryck with 9 inch radius curves but will stock using DG's manage to get around them?

9" will be fine with 4 wheel stock. Bogie vehicles are a more tricky matter. I've used 4w stuff on curves down to 5.5" with DGs and worked fine.
