Duton O9 Heywood Ella kit

Postby jameswaterfield » Sat Nov 02, 2013 12:45 am

I wonder if anyone has one of these to part with, either built or unbuilt.

Thanks

I did have one but sold it twice! The first buyer thought that it was 009 and so it came back and then was sold again!

Maybe N-Drive will produce a kit?

I am fairly sure I saw a prototype/pre-production Heywood 0-6-0 on the Minimum Gauge Models stand at Expong. Might be worth contacting Allen Law at MGM with a query?

oo, that sounds interesting - will have to inspect their stand at the weekend, assuming they are at Warley.

If you look at "Micks Roving Reporter" photos of Expong he mentions the forthcoming N-Drive preproduction model of the Heywood.

Sorry to disappoint! The photo of the Pre-production Heywood loco on the N-Drive stand at Expong that I published in my report (Part 1 photo 006)does state that it is a model of Katie - which is an 0-4-0T, not the 0-6-0 that James has been enquiring about.

Minimum Gauge Models are producing a Heywood 0-6-0 - 3D printed boiler and smoke box - the rest in etched brass.
