Password & Email

Postby BarryL » Sun Feb 28, 2016 4:24 pm

Help... My email address changed a while ago and I only just realised I haven't changed it in this forum. Also i've forgotten my password :D
Question is now my old email account no longer works how do I change my password to something I know so I can then update my email address ?
I can still get into the forum at the moment. Do I have to set up a new account ?
Thanks in anticipation
Barry

I can really sympathise with BarryL. I have several email addresses for various reasons and numerous on-line memberships/retailer etc where I use them which means loads of passwords.

I got into a fix like this and vowed never again. After some head scratching (remember, we're told never to write passwords doen!) I discovered I could password protect MS Excel spreadsheets. So all my on-line accounts are now listed on such a spreadsheet together with associated email addresses, account numbers, ID security check info and passwords.

Now I have only one password to remember - to my Excel spreadsheet.

Ken (another one!)
I'm an O16.5er myself, but the more I look at this forum the more tempting a small O9 layout is!
