I went to IKEA today.... and when I eventually found a SYNAS box, I thought it rather small, too. You'd have to have quite a tight radius, so's to get clearance inside
However; the lighting seems to be 16 LED's (4 per side) arranged around the perimeter. Looking closely at the box, the lid came off in my hand (honest, Guv'
), then I realised that you could make your own 'lid', with your pizza layout on, wired separately, and use the box upside down.
I turned it upside down in the shop, and got some strange looks from a couple of women who thought I was odd (perhaps they're not wrong!) I reckon it might work better that way, apart from the fact that you can't then look directly down on the model, due to the opaque base, which then becomes the top.
Would that be a problem?
