This was built at the Statfold Barn Railway workshops, and was running at the open day last Saturday (June 6th). It runs on 2 foot gauge.

I want one!
And I want one of these.

Its a replica of a compressed air loco used in coal mines in the North East.
The extra bit of rail you can see is because this is mixed gauge track, 2 foot and 2 foot 6 inch. The pointwork is interesting, and the two foot rail swaps sides on the balloon loop with no moving parts.

Statfold is a great day out if you can make one of their regular open days.

The Goose would nicely fit on a UE chassis.
That point work and mixed gauge exchange track looks interesting.
