RH&DR Armoured Train Article

Want to talk about Sir Arthur Heywood's 15" gauge railways? About modern day minimum gauge lines? Have you found a minimum gauge line you've not seen mentioned on the website? Want directions to one of the railways that is mentioned? Whatever your interest in real minimum gauge lines, post your questions (and answer other modellers' questions) here.

RH&DR Armoured Train Article

Postby DCRFAN 3 » Sun Oct 04, 2015 6:54 pm

I just purchased A History of Conflict Britain at War magazine September 2015 issue featuring the Battle of Britain. It includes a five page article on the RH&DR 15 inch gauge armour train. Unfortunately noting new on the photo front but there is comprehensive coverage to it's construction and use. Claimed kills to the trains guns, an ME 109 and a He III.
