Tipper wagons

Want to talk about Sir Arthur Heywood's 15" gauge railways? About modern day minimum gauge lines? Have you found a minimum gauge line you've not seen mentioned on the website? Want directions to one of the railways that is mentioned? Whatever your interest in real minimum gauge lines, post your questions (and answer other modellers' questions) here.

Tipper wagons

I know there was some discussion in Modelling Matters recently about V tipper but I thought this was more appropriate here.
I came across this when looking for something else:

Unfortunately the photographer does not know the gauge.

Anyway as a result of that I looked up Nenthead mines and found their Facebook page that has some pics of different styles of skips, again gauge info is missing as are any dimensions.

Some of it looks quite narrow:

Edit. A response to Facebook query : Nenthead Mines 18 inches if my memory serves me correctly, which it does occasionally... Nick

Cheers

Whatever they are, they are GREAT! That first pic is perfect. The design is much easier to build than some other tippers I have prototype pics of. The tipping mechanism, rocker thing, is much more simple. Thanks!
