need help to ID this Hunslet

Want to talk about Sir Arthur Heywood's 15" gauge railways? About modern day minimum gauge lines? Have you found a minimum gauge line you've not seen mentioned on the website? Want directions to one of the railways that is mentioned? Whatever your interest in real minimum gauge lines, post your questions (and answer other modellers' questions) here.

Go for it, Sir!

(But if you decide not to then please do spill the beans on where and the details of the vendor if you are able)

A "Tiny Tim" class mining loco. Will dig further for you on history.
Regards to all,

Voyager

I am pretty certain the vendor is NEMALCO (Nelson Machinery Company) in Savona, BC, Canada. Just down the road from a city I used to live in.

Cheers,

Chris

PS-Yes, it is at Nelson Machinery in Canadia

Here in the UK - people here with an interest in such things are already digging out some suggestions after having seen the thread appear. May be best if you PM me.

Builders photo courtesy of Hunslet. She was delivered on 24" gauge to a mine in Canada according to their order book, and narrowed to 18" at some point.

Cheers,

Chris

To know the meaning of life you need not to be dealt a good hand, but rather to play the worthless hand you have been dealt to the best of your ability.
