Found and scanned these which might be of interest to somebody. First two -- R&ER taken by either my father or his cousin, I would guess some time in 1930's.

I am not sure where this was taken, but somewere in Herts or Beds in early 1960's. The 'point' apears to be a track panel just slewed arcoss as needed.

Image

I do know when & were this one. East Hyde Sewage works, [Chiltern Green, Beds] From the train [BR, ER] so 1964. Single 60cm line rope worked.

Image

And I know this is a broad (2 foot) gauge loco, but thought the junk on it might help some one in modelling?

The Simplex is from Leighton Buzzard, named after a race horse.

The steam outline Ravenglass loco is the rebodied and extended in length Muir Hill.

Thanks Chris, I should have mentioned that the Simplex was at Leighton Buzzard. I was one of the very early (#6) members of the preservation group.

I have have a number of photos of that line in the early days if any one is interested?

But have still got 200 - 300 + slides to scan too, just hope that Santa will bring me a scanner!

OK, broad gauge / 2 foot ... three from a construction job near Welwyn Garden City, (Herts) c 1967. 1 x Simplex and 4 Hudson skips on each end. No idea what the job was for. But IIRC the stuff was only there for a few weeks.
