This is a new one to me, but maybe others are familar with it.
The lavender farm is near Malton and has a working 7.25inch railway. The railway is a tourist attraction but is also used to bring the harvested lavender in from the fields in scenes reminiscent of the Sand Hutton. Currently a diesel hydraulic is the motive power but a steam loco is under construction.
In short bags of prototype modelling potential .

Oh well, I enjoyed "discovering" it.
So where are all the models, it seems an ideal project?

Don't let me put you off (or not took much, hopefully). After all if folk didn't occasionally drag something up again then it is all too easy for other newer Gnatterboxers to be unaware.

Whilst I shudder at the colour of their stock, and prefer a more minimal gauge type loco than miniature I agree with you, it's a nice line with good operation potential for a model.

cheers,
