Rocks

Want to talk about Sir Arthur Heywood's 15" gauge railways? About modern day minimum gauge lines? Have you found a minimum gauge line you've not seen mentioned on the website? Want directions to one of the railways that is mentioned? Whatever your interest in real minimum gauge lines, post your questions (and answer other modellers' questions) here.

Rocks

Postby Nevadablue » Sun Aug 31, 2014 12:44 am

I needed some pictures of the local rock formations to use as color and shapes for my Little Mine project. So, I rode a half mile up the canyon from my house today and took some pics.

Here's one and a link to the album. Enjoy!

Ok, there are more pics in the 'Rocks' album. This one shows where my screen name came from... the beautiful blue sky that we have much of the time.

And, yes, the sagebrush grows here. Some of it is tall like this and some is up to 8' or so! Don't laugh at my pretty legs! :D
