Micro Layouts Group on Facebook

A general talking shop for any subject under the sun (even Monty Python). This would also be a good place to make suggestions about the site itself or about these forums (or "fora", if you're particularly pedantic).

Micro Layouts Group on Facebook

Postby chris stockdale » Tue Jan 30, 2018 7:40 am

There are, to my knowledge, three micro layout groups on Facebook, but two of them seem to take comparatively huge layouts, however charming you might consider them.

But all is not lost for those who like 'true' micros. Our own Ian Holmes of this parish has a group with these criteria:

The ONLY Facebook page devoted to the discussion, design and construction of TRUE Micro model railroad layouts. That is “Micro layouts are small model railroads, usually less than three or four square feet in area, that nonetheless have a clear purpose and excellent operating capability".

You can find it here:

Cheers,

Not entirely sure that three or four years absence allows me to be called "of this parish". Some creative Gn15 work would be welcome over there as many people don't exactly grasp what a "Micro" truly is.
