some interesting reading...

A general talking shop for any subject under the sun (even Monty Python). This would also be a good place to make suggestions about the site itself or about these forums (or "fora", if you're particularly pedantic).

enjoy, educational information follows. Note that there is a LOT of wrong and uninformed information available about this subject. Courts generally find no problem with inline links to images on forums. Many people will state 'facts' when they know nothing of what they speak. 8)

Quote from the above link:
"The third claim involved a link to a photograph posted on the photographer’s site. The court had no trouble concluding that the link was not copyright infringement, rightly noting that the photographer authorized the communication of the work by posting it on his website. This finding should put an end to claims that linking to copyright materials somehow raises potential legal risks."

For some reason the forum would not allow me to post the above link in the first post I made. Hence testing... and a question...

Why?

I got a 'your action was logged' in addition to refusal to post.
