Better watch your little people!

A general talking shop for any subject under the sun (even Monty Python). This would also be a good place to make suggestions about the site itself or about these forums (or "fora", if you're particularly pedantic).

Better watch your little people!

Postby Nevadablue » Sat Sep 03, 2016 11:32 pm

After watching some of our member's little people working on stuff, I thought I would set up my camera and see what some of my helpers are up to.

The video:

and a clip from the video,

What a hoot! Caught them in the act.

If you want to play too, get a copy of iMotion software. It runs on several platforms and is very easy to use. This is my first try at stop motion and it makes me laugh every time. Note the testing of the 'nose' of the wine and what happens to hubby when he gets caught! :D

Ken.have you got a link for software, as google throws up many sites with similar name , but don't look like right software. I used to have something similar many years ago, and found it fun to use.

Sure Simon. This is the one I'm running. I use an iPad...

and this page seems to have a lot of info on the subject too.

Please keep us posted on progress. It really is fun making these little people come alive. I got a few more figures and vehicles off ebay. While I'm waiting for them to get here, I am working on magnetic feet for them. I cut some thin magnet material (made for business cards) and stuck it to their feet. Then they can be easily moved on a steel platform. Also coming are some tiny magnets from ebay.

I hope to get the Greendale Rocket running on the layout. I think I have a good donor drive loco if the thing is the right size.

And Wallace & Gromit are bringing friends to the party too. :D
