Here's a few photos from Shepton, not at all identified. Mick's website when updated will rectify that.

Bit short notice I know (I blame the potatoes myself), but I would like to draw attention to the following: -

Eastgate Farm and The Ship Inn (both Gn15) along with Tetley Grange and PG Wood House (both Gnine) will be on show at the Southwold Railway MR Exhibition in Southwold at St Edmund's Hall, Southwold (green arrow on map link) on 4th & 5th (Sat & Sun) of May. The hall is in Cumberland Road, just a short stagger from Adnams Brewery

Hope to see some of you there (I recommend the Brewery Tour too) :)

EXPONG 2013

Postby Gerry Bullock » Fri Oct 11, 2013 3:06 pm

Well the premier specialist Narrow Gauge railway modelling event held in the UK and probably the biggest in Europe ( Greenwich & District's words - not mine) is just a fortnight away.

17 layouts, 31 specialist NG Traders and 14 Societies.

Gnatterboxers are well represented with 5 exhibiting ( a shade under 30%):

Chris O'Donoghue with Nottery Quay.
Chris Krupa with Minbury Abbas.
Jack Clarke with Oak End Farm.
Peter Marshall with Two Sisters Farm.
I'll be showing Gneiss Cider which also has a farming theme.
I hope that I haven't overlooked anyone.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

I should have added that 3 of the Traders are also Gnatterboxers, there may well be more!

NUSSA 2015 (Germany)

Postby KEG » Fri Feb 13, 2015 10:24 am

March 7. and 8th, 2015 we´ll appear with a largern Gn15 layout at NUSSA 2015 in Stadtoldendorf / Germany.
Roughly in the Hannover / Göttingen area.

Here is our intended trackplan for our Gn15 modules http://postimg.org/image/ekpv8nikr/
No electricity on the tracks, only battery / RC power.

Tradionally this event is dominated by 0 scale narrow gauge modellers (1 45 / 48), but other narrow gauge scales are sneaking in. Here are a few pictures from last years show: http://www.die-feldbahnsinnigen.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=1271&start=10

Have Fun

Picked up publicity handout at local model shop for Eastern Canada's largest train show - April 25-26 Ottawa Trainexpo at the Canadian International Hockey Academy, Rockland. http://ottawatrainexpo.com/

Wonder if there will be any Gn15 layouts as this part of Canada used to be quite a Gnutter stronghold.

Shepton Show was an outstanding success. Numbers at show looked higher than my previous visits - weather was good, no snow, no floods!
Mick Thorton wasn't there although photos were still taken by a colleague, possible that his website update might be later than usual.
I have a range of photos (includes BiS) which I'll endeavour to upload tomorrow.

LARKRAIL 2016

Postby RoGNer » Mon Jul 04, 2016 3:23 pm

A LIGHT RAILWAY & BRANCH LINE MODEL MISCELLANY

Organised again by Mr Simon Castens of The Titfield Thunderbolt Bookshop, Larkhall, Bath.

Formerly Camrail and now in its 4th year as Larkrail, will be held at the New Oriel Hall, Larkhall, Bath, on Saturday 16th July.

I am pleased to be attending again and this year i will be taking battery and r/c type things in 1/19th and 1/12th. I intend to "throw down" some Mamod track and points to create and recreate inglenook/passing loop type "puzzle", do some shunting in either scale and then lift the track and start over again with a different track plan...

The Hall is but a short distance from the Book Shop, so why not come along and visit both? A couple of good pubs nearby too.

Cheers
Roger
