Hello, new to group

With apologies to Flanders and Swann (The Gnu Song, if you must know), this forum is for all those "Hi", "Howdy" and "This is who I am" messages. If you're introducing yourself, please start a new topic (unless your somebody else's alter-ego, in which case seek professional help)

Hello, new to group

Postby NotHarryPotter » Fri Dec 02, 2011 11:06 am

Hi,

my name is Geoff, and I live on the NSW Central Coast of Australia.

I enjoy building narrow gauge in lots of different scale/gauge combinations as the mood strikes me.

Currently modelling in On30, On15, 1/34th or thereabouts on 16.5mm. I enjoy micro layouts.
Obviously, in joining this group, I am gradually being seduced by Gn15. I am gradually building up a few bits and pieces (figures, cars etc.) for future Gn15 projects.

My current project is an On30 Inglenook on a 2ft x 4ft board.

I look forward to interesting times on this forum,
regards

Geoff Potter

Hi Geoff,

Welcome to the Gnuthouse! You'll find us a friendly bunch, and there is always someone who can answer any queries you may have about Gn15 - but be warned, it's addictive.

There are lots of great threads to explore, and Gerry's Virtual Exhibition section is well worth a good look through.

Do post any models you've made - the On15 stuff will find an appreciative audience, I'm sure.

Welcome Geoff, a little surprised that you only just joined us given your interests. Guess I am so used to seeing you around on different groups that I assumed you also frequented this one :)
I'm sure you will enjoy it here, have fun.

Hi Geoff,
Welcome to the bunch of Gnutters that inspired me to keep working on the RS&W forkiie layout.

I look forward to seeing your minimum gauge efforts after seeing some of your previous stuff in other scales in action on Yallah

Geoff is also a "mine of information" on finding free "useful stuff" on the web like equipment catalogs

Come on in the waters fine - the sharks have been chased off by the crocodiles :D
