am a new member, signing in from the Baltic island Öland. My interest in Gnatterbox, is the ingenious use of IKEA's APA box as MJ modules.
However, is not a Gn modeller, but a 0n30 Maine modeller, Kennebago & Oak Hill Rwy, as well as a brake man on the 1:1 scale Swedish 2-footer Böda Forrest Railway http://www.bosj.se/fag/index.php/oevrigt/english.
A small history around K&OH; used Rand McNally US road maps to design a fictive Maine 2-footer early 1980:ies. Then, around 2006, when Google maps started to really show ground details, I got suspicious about a gravel road between Mooselookmeguntic Lake and Kennebago Lake, where I placed it. It looked very much as a railroad bed. Then, 2010, I did find new documents on the net, proving that my fictive right of way in fact was a real railroad, Maine Central, active between 1910-1925.
After being stored away for 27 years, K&OH now being is restored as APA modules and a lot of IKEA influence

I am also posting an suggestion of a 0n30 APA build standard in Size doesn't matter.
