Hi all,

My name is Jack, I have been looking in here for a while and have learnt a lot, so I thought it was time to join in and maybe give something back so here I am.

I have been modelling narrow gauge railways for some years, in 009 and also in 09, after looking in here I decided I liked the look of GNine and thought I would like to attempt modelling in this scale, especially as I have acquired a fair bit of 009/n gauge equipment gathered over a number of years.

I belong to a small group of modellers (of differing scale/gauges) who meet on a monthly basis in the Kent/Sussex area. We get together to swap ideas and to offer constructive encouragement to each other, but mainly to enjoy ourselves, after all it is meant to be a hobby!

Happy modelling.

Hi Jack - Welcome to the Gnuthouse. You'll have seen the sort of thing we're up to - if you have any questions ask away - there's always someone here who'll have the answer for you.

Glad to see both you and Roger on board. Thanks for all your help with running Balnakeil at various exhibitions. It would be great to have pics your layouts on the site - they'd be an inspiration!
See you in a couple of weeks.
